The uniqueness of this made in Italy piece lies in the distinction between the support piece and the piece being supported, in other words, between the top and the base; the latter designed with reference to the oval profiles used in the aeronautical sector to separate the wings of biplanes. The current version of the iconic rectangular table has a steel base painted in the Le Corbusier palette of colors, while the top comes in glass, textured or tinted thermoformed glass, wood or in luxurious white Carrara or black Marquina marble.
