Casamania Granny 燈

Casamania Granny lamp

The Granny lamp is a childhood memory of its designer. Pure, natural wool from farms in green alpine pastures in the remote valleys of the Tyrol where the harsh climate and hard soil provide the framework for traditional manufacturing. To produce the rough and cozy surface of the “Granny”, large woven wool threads are used, produced by a small Tyrolean family business. The yarns are then woven by hand by a collective of Dutch workers. A natural moth and dust mite treatment is also applied. Each lamp can be traced back to the flock from which the wool came.
